Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify clients' substance abuse histories, mental health concerns, and specific treatment needs.

• Develop personalized and evidence-based treatment plans aimed at addressing both addiction and any underlying psychological issues, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to share their experiences, challenges, and progress.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff to deliver integrated care that addresses all aspects of clients' well-being.

Your work will primarily focus on adult clients facing substance abuse challenges alongside co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• A strong foundation in mental health counseling principles, with specialized training or experience in addiction counseling highly desirable.

• Understanding and knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating both substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport and motivate clients towards achieving their recovery goals.
