Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities to craft individualized treatment plans.

• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a seamless continuum of care for patients.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment processes, expected outcomes, and home exercise programs.

• Supervise and mentor support staff, contributing to team skill development while managing departmental resources effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions that impact mobility. Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

• Proficient in electronic health record documentation and basic computer skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Preferred Experience
