Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, leveraging the benefits of telehealth technology to reach clients effectively. Working in a supportive and collaborative environment with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care, our counselors share resources, values, and leadership to ensure our clients receive the highest standard of mental health care available. Employees enjoy a structured work schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a conducive work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage an individual caseload of clients, establishing and nurturing rapport while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular therapeutic sessions to review client progress, stability, and outline future appointments, including timely discharges when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, incorporating feedback and adjustments as necessary.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and progress notes in compliance with relevant regulations and organizational standards, ensuring seamless communication within the interdisciplinary team.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance counseling techniques and stay abreast of the latest mental health trends and evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele within an outpatient setting, including children, teenagers, and adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their paths to recovery, providing a supportive environment that fosters healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut, with an unrestricted, independent, current, and active status.

• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating competence in therapeutic methodologies.

• Proficient in utilizing technology, including RMS systems, Excel spreadsheet software, and other digital tools for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families, showcasing your ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to suit varied needs.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and the nuances of delivering responsive care in a remote setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
