Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through comprehensive intake interviews and clinical evaluations.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that consider each client’s unique needs, challenges, and goals.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients in overcoming various mental health issues.

• Maintain consistent follow-up meetings with clients to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and empower them with coping strategies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer clients to additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or specialized therapists when applicable.

• Document and maintain accurate records of clients’ treatment, progress, and any significant developments using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, team meetings, and training to enhance delivery of care and stay updated with best practices in mental health counseling.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensing as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience working with a variety of mental health populations.
