Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your essential duties will include:

• Conducting supervision sessions in partnership with your site supervisor to enhance clinical practices.
\n
• Participating in regular meetings with clinical staff to stay aligned, discuss caseloads, and share insights on best practices.
\n
• Researching and identifying agency resources, services, and systems to better assist clients.
\n
• Completing orientation for new clients, which includes familiarizing them with agency policies and procedures.
\n
• Preparing for client sessions through meticulous review of case notes and relevant background information, ensuring you are equipped to address their needs effectively.
\n
• Engaging in small group supervision or seminar preparation, including reviewing recorded therapy sessions and discussing therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate client records, both written and electronic, guaranteeing confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
\n
• Coordinating with partner agencies to facilitate integrated services for clients, enhancing the continuum of care.
\n
• Conducting consultations with clients and collaborating closely with other professionals to ensure holistic support.
\n
• Writing thorough case notes as well as detailed client assessments and evaluations to document progress and treatment effectiveness.
\n
• Contributing to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans (ITP) tailored to meet clients’ unique needs.

• Supporting colleagues in scoring, interpreting, and preparing reports on psychometric assessments and evaluations.

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse population, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Utilizing client-centered approaches, you will help clients navigate their emotional struggles, fostering resilience and promoting overall psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline.

• Valid social work licensing in compliance with state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).

• Proven strong clinical skills with a penchant for building rapport and trust with clients.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and effectively.

• A clean record with no history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.
\n
• Authorization to work within the U.S.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in community health settings or with specific therapeutic modalities (such as CBT or DBT) are highly regarded. Those familiar with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms will have a competitive advantage in this remote role.
