Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs, creating tailored therapeutic plans that promote mental well-being.

• Provide individual, couple, and family counseling sessions via telehealth and, when necessary, in-person appointments, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to facilitate client healing.

• Document client progress and treatment plans accurately, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain organized and up-to-date client files.
\n
• Participate in team meetings and case conferencing to share insights and strategies for enhanced client outcomes.
\n
• Remain current with developments in mental health through professional development opportunities, training, and workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a varied patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing difficulties such as trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, and mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to work sensitively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds while adapting therapy approaches to meet each client's unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.
\n
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Strong bilingual communication skills, with proficiency in both Spanish and English, for providing inclusive therapeutic services.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting, working effectively with children, adults, and families.
\n
• Ability to demonstrate respect for and sensitivity to varied cultural and individual needs.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office.
\n
• A valid Driver’s License and car insurance, as some in-person client interactions may be required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as Trauma, LGBTQ+, Grief and Loss, or Perinatal Mental Health.

• Experience in providing group therapy is advantageous.
\n
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including at least two evenings per week and one weekend day.
\n
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and the ability to deliver services in a HIPAA-compliant manner.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 per year, supplemented by a signing bonus for qualified candidates.
