Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that include strategies for pre-crisis and crisis scenarios.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring that all records reflect the necessary details of client interactions and progress.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to inform clinical decisions, ensuring that interventions are tailored to each individual’s needs.

• Collaborate as part of multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans aimed at enhancing clients’ behavioral health outcomes.

• Serve as a key liaison between clients, service systems, government agencies, and community partners to ensure holistic support and resource availability.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities such as attending conferences and training sessions to enhance your expertise and represent South Coast Medical Clinic at relevant state and local meetings.

• Actively contribute to licensing and accreditation procedures, participating in quality assurance processes to uphold the highest standards of care.

• Promote the agency’s mission and values within the community while maintaining open lines of communication that encourage partnership and collaboration.

• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director that align with agency goals and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve diverse populations within the Sacramento area, addressing a range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and trauma-related conditions. Our clients often come from varied backgrounds, bringing unique perspectives and challenges to therapy. Your ability to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet individual needs will be critical in fostering positive relationships and impactful outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health field is required.

• An active and independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is a must.

• Experience in community mental health settings will be an advantage.

• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and legal/ethical guidelines in mental health care.
