Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage your own caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering positive working relationships while adhering to professional ethical standards.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, review upcoming appointments, and determine potential discharge planning when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans that cater to the specific needs and goals of each client.

• Keep accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress notes for all client interactions to ensure continuity of care.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to better understand clients' mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Engage in individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, applying evidence-based practices tailored to each client.

• Participate in individual supervision sessions to foster professional growth and clinical skill development.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community resources to optimize client care and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to work with youth, including children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engaging with younger populations, understanding their unique perspectives, and working effectively with families to address various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• Ability to meet the internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
