Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification—Tier 3 or Tier 4 required (must be submitted with application)
• Special Education licensure with experience or passion for working with students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD)
• Effective classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Serve onsite as a DCD Special Education Teacher for approximately nine students
• Deliver tailored instruction and facilitate inclusive classroom experiences
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district guidelines
• Embrace approximately 37.5 work hours per week, Monday through Friday (8:30am-4:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
