Security Officer Morning Patrol

Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.34 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur08:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to all site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical environment. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards to the appropriate contacts. Support Allied Universal and site personnel by preparing clear reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and assisting with investigations related to incidents, property concerns, and/or policy compliance. Minimum Requirements: Be able to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends. Have reliable transportation. Be available for last minute shift scheduling. Be able to meet Branch Flex travel distance requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
