Work Environment

This role is situated in a vibrant rehabilitation center equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies. Our team operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a well-structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for each patient, developing tailored treatment plans based on their unique goals and orthopedic conditions.
• Manage a reasonable patient load, ensuring that each individual receives ample attention and time for their personalized care.
• Utilize your specialized expertise in orthopedic care to implement effective non-surgical treatment options that enhance mobility and physical performance.
• Offer a range of modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve functionality.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary and documenting outcomes accurately using electronic medical records (EMR), with a strong emphasis on software like Web PT.
• Encourage patients through motivational strategies and education regarding the importance of adherence to therapeutic exercises and a healthy lifestyle.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to offer holistic and integrated care for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus primarily on orthopedic patients, ranging from those recovering from surgeries to individuals managing chronic pain or injuries. Our clientele spans various age groups and activity levels, requiring a personalized approach to rehabilitation grounded in latest physical therapy techniques and research.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program and maintain an active license to practice in Virginia.
• Exhibit a clean and impeccable record without any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and be skilled in the development of customized exercise programs.
• Be proficient with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for comprehensive documentation and efficient patient management.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current trends, research, and techniques in physical therapy is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic or outpatient setting is highly valued.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are preferred, with a knack for fostering strong patient relationships.
• Experience in creating wellness and fitness programs tailored to individual patient needs is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
