Our state-of-the-art facility features 5000 square feet of advanced treatment space, equipped with the latest sports medicine technology. We focus on offering personalized care to our patients, largely comprised of individuals with private medical insurance, and pride ourselves on our patient-centered approach to therapy.

Work Environment

This position is onsite within our modern home care facility, where collaboration and communication are key. You will be part of a proactive team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced professional schedule that fosters both personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the unique objectives and physical needs of each patient, delivering personalized care plans that align with their recovery goals.
• Maintain an efficient patient load of two individuals per hour, ensuring each session provides ample time for quality care.
• Utilize your experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to administer effective therapies aimed at improving patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Employ non-invasive, cost-effective treatment methods to minimize reliance on medication and recommend alternative solutions when necessary.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans leveraging a variety of therapeutic techniques that cater to individual patient needs.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs that motivate and empower patients to take an active role in their recovery.
• Deliver high-caliber, individualized care grounded in solid evidence and proven intervention techniques.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a supportive environment for optimal recovery and functionality.
• Advocate for a healthy lifestyle among clients by enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and maintain open communication channels throughout the therapeutic process.
• Accurately document treatments, patient interactions, and clinical notes to maintain compliance and facilitate optimal patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and injury management. Our clientele comes from diverse backgrounds, with a significant portion holding private medical insurance. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license to practice in Alexandria, Virginia.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, ensuring effective hands-on treatment.
• Experience in designing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, including WebPT, is essential for maintaining accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• A strong track record of assisting patients through tailor-made rehabilitation journeys, leading to measurable improvements in their functional outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate clients through personalized wellness programs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
