Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, operating within the homes of our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee physical therapy treatment aimed at minimizing disability, relieving discomfort, and enhancing muscle function according to individualized care plans.
• Evaluate clients' functional capabilities through diagnostic tests and tailor rehabilitation programs addressing their specific needs.
• Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure they are executing the care plan effectively, providing ongoing supervision and guidance as mandated by state regulations.
• Assess clients' homes to make recommendations for modifications that improve their independence during rehabilitation.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and treatments involving physical agents such as traction and massage, whilst also educating clients on their physical therapy regimens.
• Document all clinical interactions comprehensively, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to company policies.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings, contributing insights for the total treatment plan while collaborating closely with physicians and case managers.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding the use of assistive devices and the implications of their therapy programs.
• Ensure compliance with clinical documentation and payroll submissions, maintaining punctuality with orders and records.
• Continue professional development through various available assignments and tasks that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be serving a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain conditions, and elderly clients requiring rehabilitative support. Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist, particularly in acute or home care settings.

• Valid CPR certification and a driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A proactive approach to clinical excellence, quality patient care, and effective communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
