Our multidisciplinary team includes skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) who collaborate to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at our Alexandria facility, you will work onsite in a dynamic and supportive environment from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our facility fosters a collaborative atmosphere, where open communication with colleagues and patients is encouraged. You will have access to advanced rehabilitation tools and EMR software, allowing for seamless documentation and tracking of patient progress. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the goals, needs, and abilities of each patient.
• Develop customized treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address specific patient concerns.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality care.
• Implement effective exercise routines aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall physical function.
• Emphasize non-surgical treatment options and cost-effective interventions to support patient recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Provide ongoing motivation and support to inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, often with private medical insurance. You'll work with a diverse group of patients, each presenting unique challenges and recovery goals. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing their functional abilities, promoting healthier lifestyles, and fostering long-term wellness through strength and conditioning programs tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia with no disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a proven ability to develop effective exercise programs tailored for patients.
• Familiarity with EMR software, preferably WebPT, and a commitment to consistency in documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Experience using modern physical therapy modalities and tools to support rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
