Position Director of Membership Sales – Brooklyn Paramount The Director of Membership Sales is responsible for the development and growth of the premium membership program at the Brooklyn Paramount. Additional sales channel responsibilities include group and hospitality package member sales and other revenue‑generating programs within the product portfolio. The role includes developing, servicing, supporting, and maintaining membership relationships while meeting individual and departmental sales and service performance goals. This position reports directly to the Regional Director of Sales. Key Responsibilities Develop, nurture, and maximize positive relationships with new members through effective sales tactics, outside sales calls, presentations to potential clients, site visits, and prospecting events. Generate revenue by prospecting new leads through internal pipelines, external events, and inbound marketing efforts. Network with existing members to develop referrals and maintain a high retention rate through constant engagement. Meet and exceed specific activity, appointment, and revenue goals while surpassing member expectations. Serve as the venue sales ambassador in the community, partnering with the local Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, Chambers of Commerce, Meeting Planners Associations, and similar organizations. Work in partnership with marketing and ticketing teams to deliver timely show/ticket order announcements to members. Manage variable expense and revenue budgets and maintain proper reporting procedures. Act as liaison with internal departments (Operations, Box Office, Food & Beverage, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to develop and maintain premium membership presence and program operations that enhance the overall fan experience. Report directly to the Regional Director. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business management, business, or a related field. Five to ten years of direct sales experience, preferably in a membership‑based environment. Proven track record in relationship building and networking with ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of an organization. Experience managing a sales funnel with a sense of urgency, sometimes under high pressure. Self‑starter and entrepreneurial spirit with a hands‑on approach toward development and retention of members. Highly motivated, naturally assertive, with a positive attitude. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays per show schedule. Prior experience with Archtics and Salesforce.com is a plus. Total Earning Potential Up to $150,000 annually (Base Salary + Commission).
