Bring your organizational expertise and knowledge of Medi-Cal procedures to a critical clerical role supporting special education services. This opportunity offers a full-time, contract position for a driven individual ready to make a real impact managing Medi-Cal requests and processes within a dynamic school district environment. The role is expected to begin in September, following board approval, and will continue through the end of June.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage Medi-Cal requests accurately and efficiently
• Monitor and verify random Medicaid time surveys from SPED and district staff to ensure compliance and timely submissions
• Coordinate monthly meetings with Medi-Cal representatives to uphold best practices in procedures and timekeeping
• Serve as a liaison between staff, departments, and Medi-Cal offices to streamline communications
• Maintain organized, up-to-date records and documentation
• Offer bilingual support in Spanish (highly preferred) to facilitate clear communication across teams
• Ensure all district procedures related to Medi-Cal are followed correctly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience handling Medi-Cal requests and Medicaid documentation
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Bilingual in Spanish is strongly desired
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with various staff roles and meet deadlines
• No special licenses or certifications required, but familiarity with Medicaid processes is essential
