Key qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience processing Medi-Cal requests and associated documentation
• Strong understanding of Medi-Cal and Medicaid regulations and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to monitor, verify, and document time surveys related to Medicaid processes
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Comfort using basic office software and digital survey tools
• Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
• No special licenses or certifications required

Your primary responsibilities:

• Oversee and process incoming Medi-Cal requests and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
• Monitor random time surveys from Medicaid, verify submissions with special education staff and district members
• Meet monthly with Medi-Cal representatives to ensure accurate timekeeping and adherence to procedure
• Provide support and assistance to staff, answering Medi-Cal process inquiries and guiding compliant submissions
• Maintain organized electronic and paper records related to all Medi-Cal activities
• Adapt processes as regulations update, working with school administration to implement any needed changes

This role starts in September after board approval and offers a consistent 40-hour work week, providing you with stability through the school year’s end.
