Step into a key support role as a full-time Medi-Cal Clerical professional in a vibrant educational setting near Coachella, CA. In this contract position, you'll play a central part in coordinating and verifying Medicaid claims, ensuring compliance, and supporting best practices in documentation for district staff—especially those working in Special Education programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing Medi-Cal requests efficiently and accurately
• Monitoring and managing Medicaid random time surveys as they are submitted
• Verifying that district staff are adhering to proper procedures and timelines
• Facilitating monthly meetings with Medi-Cal representatives to confirm timekeeping and procedural accuracy
• Collaborating with other clerical and educational professionals to address any issues promptly

Qualifications and attributes desired:

• Prior experience handling Medi-Cal or Medicaid requests and documentation
• Strong understanding of Medi-Cal/Medicaid processes
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to effectively follow up with multiple staff across departments
• Bilingual Spanish skills are highly preferred to better serve our community
• No special licenses or certifications required—just a commitment to accuracy and teamwork

This full-time opportunity runs through the end of June, with a projected start date in September following board approval.
