As a valued member of our Medi-Cal clerical team, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring compliance and accuracy for school-based Medicaid programs. This full-time contract position runs through the end of June, providing 40 hours per week and will kick off in early September, following board approval.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience managing and processing Medi-Cal requests is essential
• Background in clerical or administrative work, preferably within an educational or medical setting
• Ability to monitor and verify Medicaid random time surveys and communicate updates with special education staff and district team members
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Comfort with monthly meetings to review compliance and ensure procedures are met
• Understanding of Medicaid compliance and documentation standards
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and process Medi-Cal documentation accurately and efficiently
• Monitor submission of Medicaid time surveys from staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Coordinate with school district personnel to confirm timely and proper recording
• Participate in monthly meetings with Medi-Cal representatives to maintain compliance
• Maintain thorough records and provide clerical assistance as required
