Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-home or virtual therapy sessions tailored to individual and group needs, focusing on behavioral and emotional growth.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans addressing anger management, coping skills, and social interactions while minimizing high-risk behaviors.

• Engage with children and their caregivers to improve decision-making abilities and effectively manage in-home behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate regularly with the Child Family Treatment Team and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive support for youth and families.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, including intakes, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to established timelines.

• Participate in monthly consultations and team meetings to share insights and contribute recommendations for ongoing service improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Pro Wellness, your primary focus will be on children aged 3-20, particularly those facing developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. You will work closely with primary caregivers to create a nurturing environment that recognizes and respects the diverse needs of each child. Your work will directly impact the emotional health and academic success of these young individuals, ultimately enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in Pennsylvania is essential.

• Proof of a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting, is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting is expected.

• Experience providing support to children and families facing intellectual and developmental disabilities is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated proficiency in behavior management techniques and counseling methodologies.

• Bilingual capability in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus, enhancing our service to a diverse population.
