Facilities Staff

The employee will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our school building and grounds. The employee will have strong attention to detail, knowledge of safety protocols, and the ability to work independently.Key Responsibilities:Clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other school areasMaintain the safety and cleanliness of school grounds, including snow removal as neededPerform minor repairs and notify maintenance staff of larger issuesRestock supplies of soap, paper towels, and other essentialsSet up classrooms and event spaces as requiredFollow all safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipmentImmediately report any safety hazards, such as spills or broken glass, and take initial steps to secure the areaParticipate in safety training and drills, such as fire and lockdown drillsSecure the school building at the end of the day, locking doors and setting alarms as necessaryStay updated on the latest cleaning and disinfecting best practices for schoolsSnow RemovalQualifications:Previous experience in a custodial or janitorial roleKnowledge of cleaning chemical safety and proper use of equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periodsAttention to detail to maintain a safe and clean environmentReliable and able to work independentlyHigh school diploma or equivalentJob Type: Part-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch Corp.
