Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via secure video chat, while providing a supportive and therapeutic environment for your clients.

• Guide clients through discussions about their emotions and experiences, fostering a safe space for open communication.

• Assist clients in setting personalized therapeutic goals and develop actionable plans to help them achieve these objectives.

• Identify behavioral patterns that could hinder recovery, offering insight and strategies for improvement.

• Teach clients healthy coping mechanisms and strategies for managing stress and emotional challenges.

• Regularly assess and document client progress throughout the treatment plan, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult clients who are generally stable and presenting with lower acuity mental health concerns. These individuals may not otherwise have access to regular in-person therapy, making your role crucial in bridging that gap. By providing teletherapy services, you will help expand access to mental health support and enhance the quality of life for many who are seeking help.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology.

• Valid licensure as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C).

• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and active listening.

• Proficiency with technology and telehealth platforms to efficiently support virtual counseling sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in teletherapy or telehealth services, familiarity with electronic health record systems, and a background in working with diverse patient populations will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Your dedication and expertise will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and the hours you choose to work. Additionally, full-time counselors will receive a monthly healthcare stipend to support their health and wellness.
