Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to effectively understand clients' strengths, needs, and challenges.

• Facilitating evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual and group therapy sessions that encourage emotional expression and coping strategy development.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams—including medical staff and support personnel—to provide integrated care and coordinate one-stop services for clients and their families.

• Advocating for clients’ rights and ensuring their access to necessary community resources, enhancing their overall well-being.

• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients receiving hospice care, who may experience anxiety, depression, grief, and other mental health challenges during a critical time in their lives. You will play a crucial role in addressing their emotional needs, facilitating conversations around end-of-life issues, and providing support for family members navigating the complexities of caregiving and loss.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university program.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington state.

• At least two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting.

• Proven proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing tailored treatment plans.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse populations, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
