Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the mental and emotional needs of clients, ensuring a personalized treatment approach.

• Maintain open communication with supervisors, care staff, families, and other stakeholders to discuss patient progress and treatment efficacy.
\n
• Create and provide a tentative schedule of therapy sessions, home visits, and follow-ups to monitor client advancement and adherence to personalized care plans.
\n
• Coordinate necessary home visits while adhering to best practices for in-home observations, chart reviews, and data analysis.
\n
• Ensure the effective implementation of treatment plans, measuring progress and modifying interventions as needed.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and additional required gatherings to collaborate on patient care and program development.
\n
• Document and summarize findings through monthly and quarterly progress notes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
\n
• Organize training sessions for staff and team members, enhancing their capabilities in implementing program plans and documentation.
\n
• Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews and evaluations of client needs.
\n
• Act as a liaison within the community and mental health sector, promoting understanding and accessibility of mental health services.

• Collaborate with the team to develop training materials and improve program effectiveness for diverse client populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a counselor with Wellbeing Counseling Center, you will engage with a diverse range of clients, including adults, youth, and families. You will help address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role is pivotal in fostering mental wellness and guiding clients towards healthier, more satisfying lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Tennessee
\n
• Minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, preferably within a clinical setting
\n
• A strong foundation in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is preferred
\n
• Deep understanding of ethical and legal standards within the mental health profession
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively as part of a healthcare team
\n
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and telehealth technology
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

• Experience in developing and facilitating group therapy sessions

• Demonstration of leadership skills within a clinical setting

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload
