This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. Our detox center is situated in Hartford, providing a supportive base for your work with clients in a virtual setting. Although you will work from home, regular team meetings and collaboration sessions will ensure you remain connected with your colleagues and the broader treatment team. In this role, you will be encouraged to maintain work-life balance, with flexible hours including some evenings and occasional weekends to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and resources.
\n
• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized, client-centered treatment plans.
\n
• Facilitating group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and various support groups designed to foster community and connection among participants.

• Implementing crisis intervention strategies, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety plans when necessary.

• Maintaining accurate documentation of treatment progress and client interactions to comply with ethical and legal standards.

• Engaging in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development to improve therapeutic skills and increase service efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily revolve around clients dealing with a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and trauma. You will collaborate with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, ensuring each individual receives tailored support that addresses their unique circumstances and needs.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
