Key Responsibilities\n

In the role of Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans that encompass pre-crisis interventions and crisis response strategies.

• Develop and implement behavioral guidelines and positive behavior support plans alongside treatment protocols, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards and is completed in a timely manner.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies as indicated by the interdisciplinary clinical team, playing a critical role in diagnosing and addressing client needs.

• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance and excellence in service delivery.
\n
• Serve as a liaison with various state agencies, service systems, and community partners to enhance the resources available to clients.

• Maintain open lines of communication across all levels of the organization, promoting collective adherence to contract standards and the agency’s mission.

• Build and sustain relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to expand our network, promote our services, and identify new funding avenues.

• Participate in professional development by attending relevant conferences and workshops, representing Empower Minds Therapy as a knowledgeable advocate in mental health discussions.

• Uphold and integrate our core values in everyday interactions and decision-making processes.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals seeking mental health support, including those recovering from substance use issues, adults and children with developmental disabilities, and clients dealing with acquired brain injuries. Your expertise will directly influence our clients' ability to engage in their communities, make positive changes, and achieve sustainable recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health field is required.

• An independent LMHC license is a must.
