Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients in need of stress relief and emotional balance.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine clients' individual stressors, challenges, and goals, ensuring tailored mindfulness practices are implemented.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises and meditation techniques, fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate educational workshops and group classes on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building to promote community engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults seeking mental health support to deal with stress, anxiety, and various emotional challenges. Clients will range from those experiencing mild stressors to individuals facing more significant mental health issues, allowing you the opportunity to apply a range of therapeutic modalities.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Proficiency in therapeutic techniques that integrate mindfulness into practice, enhancing client treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
