Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to help clients reduce stress, enhance relaxation, and foster overall well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, personal challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet these needs.

• Guide individuals through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques, promoting self-awareness and fostering emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and resilience-building strategies, adapting content to participant feedback.

• Incorporate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions, directly addressing specific mental health concerns to promote personal growth and skill development.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Strong communication skills that facilitate the creation of a calming and supportive therapeutic environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, with a strong preference for candidates with additional training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and integration of mindfulness into therapy.
