Work Environment\n

This remote position offers the flexibility to work in the comfort of your own setting while engaging with clients through state-of-the-art telehealth technology. You will have access to an outpatient office facility for necessary in-person consultations or meetings. Our work schedule is designed to provide structure, with core hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, making it conducive for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions to clients, utilizing techniques from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to facilitate stress management and emotional regulation.

• Conduct initial assessments to accurately gauge clients’ stressors, objectives, and specific mental health needs, crafting personalized mindfulness strategies accordingly.

• Lead clients through guided mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques, fostering an environment conducive to self-awareness and personal growth.

• Facilitate interactive group workshops that promote mindfulness, stress management, and developing resilience alongside peer support.

• Incorporate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions, tailoring interventions to address each client's unique mental health challenges, working towards their specific goals.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to clients' treatment plans that includes mindfulness practices.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness techniques, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practice and professional development, contributing to the evolution of your skills in mindfulness-based approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• Demonstrated proficiency with mindfulness practices; formal training and certifications in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) are preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the creation of a supportive therapeutic environment that facilitates client growth.

Compensation and Benefits\n
