Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial client assessments to identify individual stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, enabling tailored mindfulness interventions.

• Deliver various mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, designed to help clients reduce stress, manage anxiety, and enhance overall well-being.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques, helping them cultivate self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience-building techniques.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions to address specific mental health concerns and support client progress.

• Document client progress meticulously, detail mindfulness interventions employed, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance treatment efficacy through integrated mindfulness practices.

• Commit to personal mindfulness practice and pursue ongoing professional development to enhance skills in mindfulness applications specific to mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele seeking help for anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, and other mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in guiding them toward better coping strategies and resilience-building techniques that foster improved mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience\n

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually .
