Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to formulate individualized therapy plans.

• Provide one-on-one therapy and family counseling to clients, addressing specific mental health needs and fostering supportive relationships.

• Maintain organized billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations as part of the clinical workflow, adhering to specified timeframes.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety measures, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness programs to empower clients in managing their mental health.

• Facilitate seamless transitions by creating effective discharge plans tailored for each patient's journey.
\n
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Crossroads' policies and procedures, to uphold clinical integrity.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, supervision, and continuing education opportunities.
\n
• Participate actively in regular case consultations and agency-wide meetings to foster best practices and collective growth.

• Complete all required licensure renewals and mandatory training to maintain professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.

• Licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of New York is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
