Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their unique needs.

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, and other mental health issues, reinforcing coping strategies and emotional regulation.
\n
• Facilitate mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques during individual therapy sessions and group workshops, enhancing clients’ self-awareness and stress management capabilities.
\n
• Develop and implement group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, resilience-building strategies, and stress management techniques for various client populations.
\n
• Continuously collaborate with colleagues and healthcare providers to create a comprehensive and integrated treatment plan that encompasses both therapeutic and mindfulness modalities.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans to ensure comprehensive care and compliance with clinic policies.

• Engage regularly in personal mindfulness practices and attend ongoing professional development sessions to deepen expertise and enhance therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve adults and adolescents experiencing varying degrees of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related stress, and emotional dysregulation. By focusing on mindfulness and emotional resilience, you will help clients develop the skills necessary to enhance their overall well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic interventions is essential.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for creating a calming and supportive therapeutic environment.

• A commitment to ongoing professional development, particularly in mindfulness-based practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience conducting mindfulness workshops or group therapy sessions.

• Prior training or certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or other mindfulness techniques is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
