Work Environment\n

This role will primarily be executed in a remote setting, with an emphasis on maintaining a balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being. Our outpatient office setting supports flexibility while ensuring you remain connected with colleagues and clients. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, creating a structured yet compassionate environment where you can focus entirely on client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to assist clients in managing stress, enhancing relaxation, and promoting emotional well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify each client's unique stressors, goals, and barriers, utilizing this information to tailor mindfulness practices to their needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques aimed at fostering self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and strategies for building personal resilience.

• Support individual therapy sessions by integrating mindfulness principles to address specific mental health concerns while encouraging personal growth.

• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to ensure a well-rounded therapeutic approach, promoting interdisciplinary treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation regarding client progress, mindfulness interventions employed, and follow-up treatment plans.

• Commit to personal mindfulness practice, reflection, and ongoing professional development to deepen knowledge and practice skills in mindfulness-based therapies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Florida.

• Training or familiarity with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) approaches is highly beneficial.

• A demonstrated ability to integrate mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions effectively.
