Work Environment

This full-time role requires your presence onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, where teamwork and mutual respect are central to our operations. You will be working closely with a variety of healthcare professionals in a collaborative setting, fostering an environment that encourages sharing of knowledge, skills, and experiences. Your regular schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured work-life balance that allows you to dedicate your evenings and weekends to personal pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to establish individualized treatment goals tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Design and implement goal-directed rehabilitation programs that encompass a variety of treatment techniques aimed at maximizing functional outcomes.
• Regularly assess and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback to ensure optimal recovery paths.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care and leverage community resources effectively.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with the NJ State Practice Act and other regulatory guidelines.
• Adhere strictly to ethical practices as outlined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) to promote the highest standards of patient care.
• Proactively participate in team meetings to share insights, strategies, and updates pertaining to patient care and clinical practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated with the latest rehabilitation techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of age-specific needs and treatment methodologies. Your role will require you to be adept at addressing a variety of conditions, particularly focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation, where your specialized knowledge will greatly contribute to improved recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices.
• Possess a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated clinical experience of at least 2 years in a physical therapy setting, with proven success in patient treatment strategies.
• Strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and collaborate with peers and patients alike.

Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have hands-on experience with a broad spectrum of rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive yearly salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000, commensurate with experience.
