Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific goals and needs of each patient.
• Administer effective physical therapy interventions to facilitate the recovery of patients, particularly in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Manage caseloads efficiently, typically handling one patient every hour, ensuring each session is productive and fulfilling.
• Maintain accurate records, including patient evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports that comply with regulatory standards.
• Assess treatment effectiveness regularly and adjust plans as necessary while maintaining open communication with patients and their families.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families to promote understanding and compliance with treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse patient population needing rehabilitation services. This includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will greatly influence their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing physical therapy services, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient environment.
• A clean record devoid of any board actions or disciplinary measures against your license is essential.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques that enhance patient recovery and mobility is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems to streamline patient documentation and case management.

Compensation and Benefits
