This is a full-time position, primarily conducted in a remote setting, where you will provide culturally competent mental health services to a diverse patient population. Work Environment\n

Our community health clinic offers a remote work environment where you can contribute to our mission while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Operating Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, there may be some flexibility required to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to capture the unique experiences of patients and collaborate on personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect and incorporate the cultural backgrounds of individual patients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions targeting a wide range of mental health concerns, with a focus on long-term resilience and well-being.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques to promote safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring the highest level of patient privacy.

• Actively engage in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and partake in cultural competency training sessions to enhance service delivery.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, emerging best practices, and relevant cultural considerations in mental health therapy to continuously improve patient care.

Your expertise will primarily serve a patient population that includes, but is not limited to, ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

• Robust understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, along with a commitment to incorporating cultural competence into therapy.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy with a focus on culturally responsive practices.
\n
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, capable of remaining composed during high-stress situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster rapport with a wide variety of clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital applications.

• Adherence to professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality standards.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
