Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments by engaging clients in preliminary interviews, gathering pertinent information from the first consultation through to discharge.

• Analyze and evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional statuses, leading to informed treatment decisions.
\n
• Design and implement individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate effective therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, employing various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress in relation to their treatment goals, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to provide holistic care.
\n
• Follow up with clients’ healthcare providers, ensuring seamless transition and continuity for clients who may require additional medical support.
\n
• Proactively identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges.
\n
• Support families and caregivers in navigating mental health challenges, providing them with resources and guidance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele encompasses a wide array of individuals, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By utilizing remote telehealth services, we aim to increase access to mental health support for those who may be unable to attend in-person sessions, thus expanding our reach within the Worcester community and beyond.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• Successful completion and passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Prior professional experience practicing as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a solid grasp of therapeutic concepts and approaches.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems such as AVATAR for seamless documentation and client management.
\n
• Understanding of the complexities involved in physical and emotional health conditions, along with an awareness of substance use disorders.
\n
• Awareness of best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong interpersonal abilities that foster trust and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position comes with a competitive yearly salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
