Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, enabling you to provide care to patients from the comfort of your own space while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The standard work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs. As a member of a supportive team, you will engage in regular case consultations and collaborative meetings to foster professional growth and optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique circumstances and challenges faced by older adults.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that consider cognitive, physical, and social factors influencing mental well-being.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, incorporating both individual and family therapies to effectively address geriatric psychiatric conditions.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring swift and effective response to urgent patient needs.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources for enhanced support.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on the geriatric population, assessing and treating a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, dementia, and adjustment disorders. You will have the opportunity to work closely with elderly patients who require compassionate and tailored mental health care, ensuring that their quality of life is prioritized and improved.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Strong knowledge of geriatric mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities applicable to elderly clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a patient-centered and empathetic approach to care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
