Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred for physical therapy services, utilizing appropriate assessment tools.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient needs.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate patient recovery, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in accordance with facility policies and state regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants and rehabilitation aides, providing guidance to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to communicate progress and adjust treatment strategies collaboratively.
• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in continuing education programs.
• Maintain accurate billing information and documentation for insurance purposes, ensuring compliance with administrative procedures.
• Participate in family meetings to discuss treatment progress and consider family input in care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation patients to those recovering from sports injuries and chronic pain conditions. The role demands a compassionate approach, as you will be integral in helping patients navigate their recovery while addressing both clinical needs and emotional support. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Florida State License as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• Current certification in CPR, along with updated physical and PPD records.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction.
• Current Florida Driver's License, registration, and auto insurance are required for mobility.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a licensed Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits
