Work Environment

This position will primarily operate on-site in a home care environment, allowing you to deliver care directly in the comfort of our patients' homes. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be a part of a supportive work environment that includes two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). We prioritize teamwork and open communication to enhance patient outcomes and professional satisfaction. Your work will involve direct patient interactions, and you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule to best serve your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on a thorough assessment of each patient's physical capabilities and rehabilitation goals.
• Conduct one-on-one patient sessions, managing a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused and effective care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide high-quality therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring movement and improving physical function.
• Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary, keeping clear communication with patients regarding their treatment outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and maintain comprehensive records in accordance with organizational policies.
• Formulate fitness and wellness programs that promote long-term health maintenance and quality of life enhancements for your patients.
• Foster positive relationships with patients to motivate them throughout their rehabilitation journey and encourage lifestyle changes that support recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care strategies, ensuring an integrated approach to patient health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele of Rehab Innovate PT Clinic primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our patients range from children to older adults, and we focus on providing tailored rehabilitation strategies that cater to their unique physical challenges and personal goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; however, a Master's or Doctorate degree (DPT) is preferred for this role.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required.
• A clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary action against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to maintain patient documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, providing a foundation for understanding common patient needs and effective interventions.
• Experience in home care rehabilitation services is beneficial and will enhance your ability to deliver personalized care.

Compensation and Benefits
