Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients who are recovering from injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic conditions to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise programs, and the application of modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment protocols as required to ensure optimal outcomes and attending to any changes in patient condition.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes rigorously in our electronic health record system to maintain accurate patient files.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises, safety techniques, and strategies for enhancing mobility and self-care at home.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, participating in peer discussions, and contributing to clinical supervision.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Vital Stride, you will primarily work with patients undergoing rehabilitation from orthopedic surgeries, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient-centered approach emphasizes tailoring therapies to address specific needs, empowering individuals to regain their strength and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A current, valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• A positive attitude and the capability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits
