Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, designed to promote healing and comfort. The work schedule entails Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, providing a consistent work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address each patient's specific goals, establishing comprehensive treatment plans that facilitate recovery.
• Manage a patient load of one-on-one sessions, ensuring dedicated and personalized attention to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment strategies that effectively improve patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical condition.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques alongside tailored exercise programs to support rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor and evaluate progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary to optimize patient recovery.
• Document all patient care activities meticulously, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Engage with patients, motivating them to participate actively in their rehabilitation and fostering a positive therapeutic environment.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic treatment tailored to each patient's unique journey.
• Encourage a healthy lifestyle, promoting strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance, while working towards reducing medication reliance and avoiding surgical interventions when possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You'll encounter a diverse clientele, each with their unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them through their recovery journey, utilizing specialized knowledge in orthopedic care.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required.
• Current and valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience in designing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting will be highly valuable.
• Past involvement in creating wellness programs and fitness plans that align with patient rehabilitation goals.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and educate patients about their treatment and wellness strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
