Serenity Motion Therapy, located in beautiful Port Saint Lucie, Florida, is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation facility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, identifying their needs and setting achievable health-related goals.
• Manage a manageable caseload of up to one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and focused attention during each session.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based techniques to improve patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at pain reduction, mobility enhancement, and development of strength.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and physical modalities to achieve treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and document patients' progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Foster a supportive environment, encouraging patient engagement and motivation throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic care.
• Educate patients on best practices for maintaining their health, including strategies for lifestyle change that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Implement fitness and wellness programming tailored to the specific needs of different patient populations.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment methodologies and participate in departmental meetings to share insights and improve practices.
• Document all patient care services in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies using EMR software, particularly WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. These patients come from diverse backgrounds, and our team's approach is to create an inclusive and compassionate environment that respects each patient's unique situation and aspirations for rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license as a practicing Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong professional integrity with an impeccable record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and developing comprehensive exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical records, specifically proficient in WebPT.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to motivate and build relationships with patients.

Preferred Experience

• Previous practical experience in an orthopedic outpatient clinic setting.
• Acquaintance with modern rehabilitation methodologies and patient-centric care approaches.
• Experience in evaluating and treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 120,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
