Work Environment

Our home care program assigns therapists to provide individualized care in the homes of our patients, which allows for customized treatment strategies and greater adaptability to patients' unique environments. You will choose your own hours within a Monday to Friday framework, providing work-life balance and the ability to manage your schedule efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients in their home environments to assess their physical capabilities and establish their specific care needs.

• Create personalized treatment plans that utilize a variety of approaches, including exercise protocols, manual therapy techniques, and usage of therapeutic equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.

• Implement therapy sessions focusing on developing strength, flexibility, and functional skills, while continuously monitoring patient progress against predefined therapeutic goals.

• Document treatment processes and outcomes comprehensively to ensure accurate medical records, enabling effective communication within the healthcare team.

• Reassess and modify treatment plans based on patient feedback and clinical change, ensuring therapeutic interventions remain effective and relevant.

• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and the use of assistive devices required for daily functions.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, networking, and participation in relevant professional societies to stay updated on industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists primarily provide care for children and adults with special needs, chronic conditions, recovery from surgeries, or injuries affecting their mobility and quality of life. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• State licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• Proficiency in using technology for documentation and communication purposes.

• A flexible and adaptable mindset to provide personalized care in varied environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pediatric care or home healthcare settings is a plus but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
