Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite at patients' homes within the local community, allowing you to interact closely with those you treat. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their need for orthopedic physical therapy and create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual goals.
• Deliver effective therapeutic interventions based on physician care plans while adhering to agency policies and professional standards.
• Implement a range of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies to promote recovery and wellness.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient care process to collaborate on treatment goals and update care plans as necessary.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans when needed to ensure effective outcomes.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a wide range of patients, predominantly those with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain management. You will work with individuals of varying age groups, from younger athletes recovering from injuries to seniors needing post-operative care. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating proficiency in managing diverse conditions.
• Current certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and general computer applications, which are crucial for maintaining accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in home health settings or familiarity with specific treatment protocols for orthopedic rehabilitation can be beneficial. A strong background in developing patient-focused treatment plans and excellent interpersonal skills will set you apart in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
