Position Overview

Mobility Project Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This full-time role is ideal for a licensed therapist passionate about helping patients regain their mobility and lead active lives. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, as therapists will perform home visits to provide therapy. Working in various home settings allows us to deliver care in a comfortable and familiar environment for our patients. Our team operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a clear work-life balance for all staff members. Patients benefit from personalized attention, and therapists can more easily assess their everyday living conditions and challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and identify patients' functional limitations, goals, and individual rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive, personalized care plans that incorporate various evidence-based treatment modalities to enhance mobility and functionality.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and specialized exercise protocols to address patients' conditions effectively.
• Educate patients and their families regarding their treatment plans, progress, and strategies to maintain and improve physical health.
• Monitor and document patient outcomes, providing regular feedback and adjusting therapy protocols as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Engage patients in exercises that promote strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance, essential for their recovery process.
• Strive to minimize reliance on medication and explore non-invasive alternatives to surgery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role predominantly involves working with orthopedic patients who may be recovering from surgeries such as joint replacements, fractures, or sports-related injuries. Aimed at providing restorative and rehabilitative care, you will enable patients to regain confidence in their physical abilities while helping them manage pain and improve their daily function.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated excellence in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• A solid professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for consistent documentation and tracking of patient progress.
• Background in alternative treatment modalities or sports therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

Mobility Project Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, aligned with experience and qualifications.
