Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with orthopedic conditions, including fractures, post-surgical recovery, and musculoskeletal disorders, ensuring thorough assessments of their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans informed by initial evaluations, ongoing assessments, and patient feedback, promoting optimal recovery and function.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including specialized exercises, manual therapy techniques, and equipment-assisted rehabilitation, aimed at restoring mobility and strength.
• Monitor patient progress consistently, making informed adjustments to treatment strategies based on clinical outcomes and patient response.
• Educate patients on effective injury prevention strategies, safe rehabilitation practices, and customized home exercise programs to empower them throughout their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care for each patient.
• Maintain and update detailed patient records to comply with regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, including sports injuries, surgeries related to joint replacement, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse patient population, from young athletes to seniors in need of rehabilitation, emphasizing personalized care pathways that address specific needs and lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
• Fully active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong proficiency in orthopedic evaluation and treatment techniques, with knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, highlighting your expertise and familiarity with a variety of rehabilitation practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
