Work Environment

The position is fully onsite and involves delivering home care services to patients in their residences across Mount Laurel and surrounding areas. This unique environment allows for personalized interactions that significantly enhance the therapeutic relationship, enabling physical therapists to fully understand and effectively address each client's challenges. You will work independently and be responsible for managing your own schedule while also coordinating with our integrated healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities and limitations to formulate bespoke treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Administer hands-on therapy, including specialized exercises, stretching routines, and manual therapy techniques aimed at relieving pain and restoring function.
• Educate clients and their families on self-care methods, effective home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and promote independence.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records to track progress, modify treatment plans, and document outcomes in compliance with industry regulations.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Participate in regular case reviews and training sessions to enhance skills and share insights that contribute to holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The orthopedic focus of this role involves working primarily with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal health. This includes individuals with joint replacements, fractures, sports injuries, and degenerative ailments. Your expertise will make a profound difference in their rehabilitation journey, enabling them to regain strength, mobility, and overall functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure in New Jersey to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, including relevant internships and residencies.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions, rehabilitation principles, and contemporary physical therapy techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to patient advocacy and education.
• Ability to stay organized and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment, providing excellent service to each client.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care settings or similar environments is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and various modalities for pain relief.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000.
