Work Environment

This role is delivered onsite in a home care setting, where you will work directly in the community, providing therapy services in the comfort of our patients' homes. Our team values collaboration among healthcare professionals, and as such, you will have the opportunity to consult and partner with physicians, occupational therapists, and other specialists to achieve the best patient outcomes. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify rehabilitation goals, needs, and progress.
• Design and implement cost-effective treatment plans utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and patient education.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs tailored to the unique needs of each patient, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care that emphasizes patient engagement and motivation throughout the recovery process.
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued improvement.
• Facilitate direct communication with patients and their families to encourage active participation in their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with fellow healthcare professionals to enhance integrated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, ensuring that each person receives tailored interventions that align with their specific health challenges and personal goals. Building rapport and trust with your clients will be fundamental to your success in this role.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, demonstrating a strong understanding of treatment techniques for musculoskeletal conditions.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in explaining treatment options and involving patients in their care.
• Capacity to work with patients from various backgrounds and managing different personality types effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and monitoring patient progress.
• Experience in designing and implementing wellness programs that address lifestyle and preventive care.
• Successful track record of working in a collaborative environment with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

Bodywise Physical Therapy, LLC offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, along with performance bonuses that recognize your contributions to patient care.
