Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This full-time role offers the unique opportunity to engage with patients in a supportive outpatient setting, emphasizing recovery and rehabilitation within the orthopedic domain.

We operate a 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility that is equipped with the latest technology and tools to facilitate patient recovery. Our experienced team includes two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all of whom are passionate about promoting patient well-being and achieving optimal functional outcomes. We primarily work with private medical insurance carriers, ensuring our patients receive comprehensive and cost-effective treatment.

Work Environment

The role is conducted onsite at our specialized rehabilitation center, where you will experience a collaborative and supportive work environment. With a focus on orthopedic outpatient therapy, you will interact daily with a diverse patient population, making each day dynamic and fulfilling. Our facility not only provides an array of advanced rehabilitation equipment but is structured to foster collaboration and communication among our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' movement capabilities and identify individual goals and needs.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans using a range of treatment techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• See 2-3 patients per hour, providing quality, personalized care that promotes a return to optimal function.
• Utilize proven evidence-based practices and interventions to enhance patients' motion and mobility while reducing dependency on medications or surgical interventions.
• Create and lead fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' unique rehabilitation journeys.
• Document all patient care services accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Evaluate and monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance comprehensive patient care.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey to ensure they are engaged and focused on their recovery.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and exercises to foster a healthy lifestyle and improve overall wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation following orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be instrumental in guiding them through their recovery process, helping them regain strength, flexibility, balance, and overall function.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, free of any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing and implementing exercise programs based on individual patient needs.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate and efficient patient records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates who possess at least two years of experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings. Experience in developing personalized treatment plans and familiarity with various evidence-based therapy techniques will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
